An amazing ending to the trilogy, it all felt so perfectly wrapped up and I think every character got the ending they deserved. It was thrilling and emotional and seriously a good read.

3 stars. Ehmmmm I think it disappointed me without having any expectations, but it coulda have been worse though.
Not gonna take a too dupe dive in the review I wan to label it spoiler free but here is my main 3 things:
- Plot: not all over the place but sometimes it felt like somethings were unnecessary complicated, but overall liked the “plot twist”.
- Characters: I felt like they didn’t change a lot because all of the great development where made in the second book, this was just like an extra bonus in their personality path.
- Relationship: ..... are we gonna address the asexual bating? I’m not shaming their sexuality but it really mislead me through out all the series, I think that if they stay in a fluid relationship/friendship because all of their past and traumas with touch would have been more fulfilling to them and the reader.
Overall not bad but not great. It’s a meh

The perfect ending to the perfect trilogy!
This series was really good and I still can’t believe that it’s over. I’m really happy with how things ended. I really want to learn more about Adair and Diana as they’re both very interesting characters (secretly hoping for a spin-off series about them). I definitely recommend this series!

Good growth for Nita in the end working with Adair. Chasing her dream of going to college
Fabricio - wow didn't expect any of that. that his dad is dead & he has the control is an Aur. He can flash brightly. Too caught up in the lies can’t make stop lying.
Kovit-changing becoming flexible still wants to hurt people. So he isn’t redeemed at all, but potentially future Zannie’s won’t be under as much pressure
Name goes up early on the list.
Sister abadons him. Rightfully cause he’s not sorry just sorry he was caught
Lives because of Nitas blood. Trying to decide if it was better if he died.
Nita’s Mom: Dead. By Explosion. I was curious what was going to happen to her and I have to retract my previous liking of her. She went bad and fast. Founder of INHUP to allow herself to keep killing. Explosion so powerful nita’s Muscles melted across the room behind a desk.
Atmosphere
The Gruesome factor is definitely here. Nita throwing the motorcycle at the crowd.
Dissection of Vampire. politician death of “fabricio’s Father” well placed torture scenes.
Great depiction of grief when Kovit is dying.
Writing
Good writing I loved the line that had all three book titles in it. Not Even Bones, Only Ashes remained, When Nita Rose. Wow. Fit the scene and was a neat touch
Plot
The Plot goes pretty wild here, but that’s cause everytime they make a move something changes. Only a couple of minor things against it. But setting themselves up to be free ahs always been the major goal of Nita and Kovit. A very fast paced book even during “downtime” Goes from Get the law to get protection to stop INHUP from releasing Kovit’s info to stop INHUP completely.
Investment
I really had a hard time putting this book down. Seeing what would happen to our crew and how they would get out of it.
Logic
Head of Tuacahn law just walks to hotel meeting with no guards. Even if its someone you trust. He should be on guard. Lets murder 3 people in this one hotel room. I mean I get it, but still change it up a bit.
Enjoyment
This book was an enjoyable read from start to finish.
Misc
I was WRONG, they aren’t together, just Love of familial love not romantic. And I’m ok with it.
Minor things. A 13 TB hard drive and you can carry it around inconspicuously. Yeah Right. Barely see HD going up to 10 and that’s not as simple as just plugging it in.
Tuacahn law was disappointing.
Curious about Unicorns, if they have to eat souls. Is it like a once in a while thing how often really. That’s a hard one say here’s an alternative situation. But again no turning off food for zannie’s. just bad
