I picked this one up after very much enjoying Glimmers of You earlier this month. I really liked to read about Wren and Holt's story. Second Chance Romance gets me everytime!

I have come to really enjoy Catherine's romantic suspense books! I like the aspect of not knowing what will happen next since it keeps me interested in the book. This book did just that! I'm excited to continue the series and read more of Catherine's books!

4.5 stars!

Am in in my romantic suspense era? I think I might be!
This book was so captivating. I found myself not wanting to put it down because I was always on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next!
A suspenseful story line with a romance and side characters that I can’t wait to read more about!
I wish we got more of Wren and Holt though, I feel like we didn’t get a lot of depth with them.

This is my first title by Catherine Cowles … is it too soon to say Catherine is an auto-buy author for me? I am obsessed. Absolutely obsessed 👏🏻👏🏻 I love romantic suspense soooo much and this was top tier! I had to know what was going to happen from page one — and I read the whole dang thing in a frenzy. 

I loved Wren and Holt’s love story; as heartbreaking and devastating as it was, it was just beautiful and so genuine. I cannot wait to devour the rest of this series and the rest of Catherine’s backlist! 

Highly recommend if you’re a Devney Perry girlie like me 🩵

I got to enjoy these two a lot. Wren and Holt have a great story and I love the Hartley family. Even though Holt and Wren have not been an item his family has still been there for her. Holt definitely regretted what he did 10 years ago but he was ready to fight and I saw the change in him. Wren went through way too much but the two can work through it. And they did. Love a small-town romance with a big family! 🤍
