I think I should not read any more Bruce Coville from now on to preserve the enjoyable haze my mind formerly had around his work, until I read this awful book with dumb adjective use and a poor plot that tries to disguise that fact by introducing a new monster every other page. So.

Oh my goodness I read this when it first came out and realized that was in 1994, I feel old. Love Bruce Coville and remember this being one of the few non-R.L. Stine books that I read. Plus I thought the cover was amazingly cool, so sad to see the reprints have some crappy update.

Coville's Rod Allbright series is among my very favorites. Much more than the My Teacher Is An Alien books.
