This was an emotional read that shows one of our Cerberus members going through a trauma and trying to accept the outcome. Aro and Slick get thrown together in the worst of circumstances but maybe fate had a hand in it all. These two were perfect for each other, soulmates as some would say. I enjoyed this book and seeing the Cerberus MC act as one big family again. Always looking out for their own and meddling when needed.

Things Just Got Messy

Ok, so first off, I LOVE every new Cerberus installment, and this is no exception. I can sum up Aro and Slick’s story in one word….complicated. I tell you what, these two take stubbornness and lack of communication to a whole new level lol. Then again, it’s hard enough dealing with any kind of a physical, or emotional, relationship, but when you throw in a life altering injury to the mix, it’s really asking for chaos. I do understand though that they were both worried about how getting together would impact their positions in Cerberus, and Aro’s headspace while recuperating was less than ideal, especially since Slick was there to help in more of a psychological support kind of way. Bottom line though, these two were definitely gonna end up together one way or the other, but Aro’s injury definitely kicked their connection up into high gear. I can’t wait to get glimpses of these two in future stories

I can’t believe this is the 24th installment in this series. You do not need to read the previous books in the series to read this one. Both characters Aro and Slick have their issues. And both have major communication issues, especially with one another. Their jobs aren’t easy and they must try and figure out how to work together through everything. Cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us!

I really enjoy this series. I’ve loved reading about all of the characters & getting to know them. Aro’s story was emotional & angsty. The chemistry between him & Slick (Brynn) was definitely there but I felt like the angst between the two of them got in the way of really making it off the charts. There was so much buildup to them being a couple & then it just ended. No epilogue either which is a downfall. Between that & the former I couldn’t give this book all 5 stars. It’s a 3.5 for me.

Aro and slick’s story was a roller coaster of ups and downs kind of book. It was an awesome story from beginning to end keeping you glued to the book not wanting to put it down afraid that you were gonna miss something. I definitely recommend this book!.

This one was a rollercoaster of feelings. Tragedy and anger gets in the way but the couple make it work…until work gets in the way. These two are the definition of doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons. It mad me laugh, cry and scream. It’s been a while since a book brought that many emotions. Totally loved it!.

Last book read 2022 :)
