After the other two books in the trilogy being so good I was worried that this one wouldn't be able to live up to the hype I had, but it absolutely did!

The characters got even more incredible and I love that we got to see more of Tristan and Malorley's backstory as it just made them even more interesting and complex characters. Once again we also got a great insight into the leading Nazis and Allied politicians who were pulling the strings behind the scenes that led to the plot of this book. I just loved how the characters ended up by the epilogue of this book because they all had satisfying endings to their arcs whilst leaving the world and story open for any further development, especially considering the twist that happened at the end!

The plot was, as the other two had been, wonderful. We had the treasure hunter aspect mixed nicely with the events of ww2 and this time we got to see the Russians getting involved as well which was super cool. My favourite part of the story was when Tristan was in the British Museum trying to get a hold of the final swastika. And then of course we had the usual twists and turns that were peppered throughout the book, which made my jaw drop. Especially the ones at the end because oh my goodness they really bought the book and the trilogy to an epic conclusion.

The writing, as I have said for the last two books, was just incredible. The characters were well written and the plot was well crafted and I just had such a good time reading this book as it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and was interesting historicaly as well.

I had a really hard time getting into the story, so after 3 weeks, I just gave up. I found the story a bit repetitive after the first two books.
