This is a book that I might read again and again. It's like all my childhood's favorites condensed into one novel. Strangely though, I don't remember it being that gory (or that funny), when I read the english translation a while ago.

I don't know how many times I've read this tremendous book, the only thing I know it's that it's one of the most imaginative, creative, and original books I've read. A fantasy outpouring.

After reading this book I felt like Yarnspinner after he finished reading the manuscript. It was so good that I would try to limit myself to how much I could read in a day just so it wouldn't be over! Easily going to be a new favorite and one that I will read many times.

A wonderful masterpiece of literature. A beautiful world filled with amazing creatures. It feels like you could step right into Bookholm and cozy up in the corner of a cafe with an old book and a piece pf bee bread. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves books and even those who don't. It really is a must read. It may even be a new must read every year kind of book.

Ich bin froh, dass mir dieses Buch so gefallen hat. Zwar werde ich glaub nie ein kompletter Fan von Moers, aber hier gibt es einiges, das mich noch eine Weile begleiten wird!
