I thoroughly enjoyed this book. While a fascinating exploration of women in science in the early 1900s, it is also just a well told tale of a woman lost to history. While clearly fiction, it does also make one consider Maric's role in the famous theory of relativity and also the toll such a meteoric rise in stature can have on a person and his family. An excellent book.

I'm reading backwards through the Overdrive Big Library Read books. This is very different from the books I normally read. I suppose that is part of the point of the Big Library Read. Anyway, I enjoyed it. I sometimes wonder if anyone is able to hold up under the intense scrutiny of time.
