I enjoyed Zoey, the female main character, but I didn't think much of Graham, which made this a tough read for me. Too many "darlin's" I think.

It's neither romantic nor sexy when a man handles anything resembling an emotion by hitting things and being cruel and thoughtless to those he supposedly cares about. A cute story ruined by jackassery.

This contemporary romance was a cute read! I am a sucker for the "Grumpy/Sunshine" romance trope. Our main character is a tourist headed to Alaska. While there she meets a local who can't stand the tourists. The story collides from there and was a delightful time.

While I wouldn’t say The Tourist Attraction was a great book, I thought it was a cute but quirky closed-door rom-com.
Set in the beautiful Alaskan mountains, The Tourist Attraction focuses on a tourist going on her dream Alaska vacation and ends up falling in love with the town’s grumpy restaurant owner.
There are things that worked and didn’t work well in this book. While the MCs have a pretty decent character development, Morganthaler spends a lot of time on detailing the most minor of characters, appearing in only a chapter or two and later becoming a forgettable entity. Additionally, while I did think this book can be funny at times, the slapstick humor that Morganthaler utilized in The Tourist Attraction felt, at times, forced.
Nevertheless, the book isn’t bad and I would recommend it for readers who want a destination read that focuses on more quirkier characters. However, there is definite room for improvement.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! This was one of those reads that I never wanted to put down but also didn’t want to finish.
Open The Tourist Attraction and let it transport you to Moose Springs, Alaska for a few hours. You will love it there! A few things you’ll find in this small town:
- Zoe - a tourist who has been saving up to visit for years and has lots of plans
- Graham - a grumpy local who doesn’t want anything to do with the tourists
- Jake - a blind border collie who is a VERY GOOD BOY
- Ulysses - a moose who just loves the smell of freshly baked bread
- cinnamon rolls the size of your head
- alllllll the moments to make you swoon

Apparently romance books set in Alaska just work for me? I loved this one and the witty banter between our two main leads. I loved seeing Alaska with Zoey! This was great on audio as well.

This book started out super cute, I loved the setting of Moose Springs, Alaska and all that came with it. The characters were instantly drawn to each other because Graham was hot and grumpy and Zoey was ~different~ to him. This cliché story line of a character being so “different and unique” is over done and was quite boring and repetitive.
I felt like this book dragged on and found myself speed reading/turning the speed up on the audio book (I did half and half).I’m here to say don’t do the audio book it was weird, the woman reading did a lower voice for Graham and it made me cringe.

How unique! Graham also was a weird character, he was such a misogynist sometimes, I almost stopped reading because of him.
I will only recommend this book if you enjoy super cheesy and predictable romances with no real character development. Basically this would have been a great Hallmark movie but didn’t really work as a book for me.

what an absolute cute cover… but the story itself??? hahahah what a wreck!! I wanted to DNF this book literally 10% in but I thought “no I wanna give it a fair chance” and boy did this book disappoint. graham was a NIGHTMARE of a character, his attitude was not it, his dialogue was ridiculous & unrealistic and honestly why did I find this book to be a bit of a yawn fest too?! I have the other 2 books in this series on my
