Adorable, funny, a little sad. And Satan proves once again he's got a sense of humor.

A fun little short story about vampires and werewolves by Mike Mignola. Warwick Johnson Caldwell's art evokes the classic European comics feel and keeps things a touch irreverent. Fans of monsters, Mignola, or both should give this a look.

Not enough story, not enough explained for it to be meaningful. One of the two women in the story got fridged, bleh.

Quizás esperaba más de este libro, la historia es entretenida y el arte funciona bien. Pero nada mas.

A short, engaging horror-comedy comic that really throws you into some atmospheric, old fashioned, tongue in cheek vampire hunting shenanigans. We don’t really need to know any backstory here, just that a professor and his erstwhile bodyguard are in Eastern Europe attempting to take down a 300 year old vampire lord when they encounter the titular Mr. Higgins, who has his own problems.

I’ve often found myself underwhelmed by art collaborations with Mike Mignola, missing his own inimitable, moody style, but I really enjoyed Warwick Johnson Caldwell’s art here, which is wonderfully surreal and sketchy, with plenty of cool details. Nothing really groundbreaking, but done with style.

Dark, funny, and smart. A loving satire -- the best kind.

Lovely little details. A ln entertaining little story with some laugh out loud moments. I'll keep thinking about this one.
