It's definitely a Meyer novel.

Although it's written through a slightly more mature lens, it's incredibly cheesy and cringe worthy at times.

The concept is cool. The characters are okay, I guess. The ending is a stretch, but I did like how things tied together.

I only managed to finish it because I borrowed it in audiobook format.

I was bored. It was drowning in convoluted details and dialogue. It took a long time to get into, and it left me underwhelmed.

A quick and fun read where the world of black ops and government assassins is revealed through the eyes of a strong female protagonist, on the run, and with plenty of tricks in her arsenal.

She also has the smarts to best them all, but not without taking a few licks herself.

I enjoyed The Host and now have enjoyed The Chemist. Dare a 58 year-old fat, balding, man tackle the Twilight Series?

Remains to be seen.......

Most of this book was very enjoyable, however, the romance was soooo cringy. It took up too much of the book and I think hindered the pacing. I think I would have been ok if it was there and better developed, but it should have been more secondary than it was. It occurred a lot in the middle of the book and felt very young adult for an adult novel.

To end on a good note, the action was cool and fast paced and the thriller part was fun.
