For some reason, billionaire romances make me nervous. But let me tell you, Black Ties and White Lies did not disappoint!
Hot billionaire flying across the country to steal you away from your crappy job and hires you to be his assistant? yes please
He wants you to be his fake fiancé? umm yess
He is your ex's much hotter and successful older brother? yes! YES! YESS!!!
He has actually been pining after you for YEARS?! OH GOD YES!!!
add in 5 straight chapters of spice? Is it just me or is it getting caught in here.
I do not know what Kat Singleton put in this book, but I ATE IT UP!!!

I honestly think fake dating books where both the characters are equally obsessed with each other from the beginning should really be told from one POV because then you have their actions saying one thing and their words saying another and you wonder who is going to break first. But when you have both and the insight into their actions it just makes a mid book. And because of the insta lust (pls remove like 70% of smut from this book) and that it just was unbearable to get through.

It’s a shame because the book starts of so strong when he buys her company just because she won’t answer the phone!!
