I started reading this and was hooked straight away. I finished a few hours later. Having read other books with a similar plot line, I was really hoping this wouldn’t be a disappointment and it wasn’t! Kitty is a likeable character despite her chosen pastime. I liked that we found out her background story as the book progressed. Every character in the book felt more realistic, it would have been easy to make her friend group vapid and stereotypical but this felt more believable. For the most part. It’s really hard to review the book without giving anything away but if the title grabs you and synopsis appeals to you, go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

ooh i REALLY enjoyed this. this was so fun to read honestly, since i'm kind of a sucker for good-for-her revenge plots. this did definitely have some nuance and plot twists that made it slightly more complex, but the ending made me wish there was a sequel. hard to put down for sure

Uninspiring, truly.

Also, as an avid true crime fan, the London Metropolitan police is either just truly abysmal in this book, or this girl has really good luck for not getting caught because putting in efforts to catch her would be a waste of time ! It would’ve been so easy to catch her if only the police had had a bit more narrative in the book than just letting the book be a ‘oh look, a vigilante, we should all appreciate her !’ Wattpad has better crime books than that. (See: confessions about Colton, and others)
