Still crying because a) the ending and what they had to give up, and 2) it's over and I don't want it to end ♥️

Aannnnd this series comes to an end. This is a great final installment, wrapping the romance plotline nicely. I liked how everyone they helped throughout the series came back for her wedding to support her. The time jump ten years into the future is pleasant, as it lets us see where their future took them, which is just perfect. Tomoe as a human is as cute as he is as a fox.
The series as a whole, if I rated it, probably 3.5. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. I think, for me, easily ten books of this series could have been removed. A lot of the side stories just got so much. There’s a huge cast of characters. A lot of them I just wasn’t invested in.
I love Inuyasha, and I googled manga if you enjoy that series, and this is one that came up. I can see why. But with that series, I was invested in EVERY character, not just the romance, and I wasn’t feeling that with this one. A few times I nearly dropped the series altogether, but by that point, I was so many books in, I didn’t want to. So I stuck with it. Happy I did, because again, cute series. I just didn’t love it.

To say I sobbed would be an understatement. I once again truly wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. All I can say is perfect.
