This book was stunning. It warps your feelings in some twists and turns. I loved this book and from page 50 on I was glued. The only criticism I have is in the beginning I was finding the main narration annoying and almost "please pity me" sort of tone.

I liked this far better than “The Perfect Child” because it had nuance and emotion. Very, very interesting questions posed in this book.

Also I understand the purpose of the plot twist, but it did just feel like it was for shock value…

This book is extremely complicated and I don't know how to feel. Check your trigger warnings before even opening this book up.

My god I’ve never sobbed like this over a book. I didn’t expect to be so emotional. Like, ugly crying emotional. As a boy mom, this was an extremely tough read, but I’m glad I read it. It really makes you think of what you would do and how you would feel if you were Adrianne and in her shoes.
