This book moved too slow to speed up so fast towards the end. I was thoroughly disappointed with the plots ending. I was offended with Whitney's cliche "fat girl" character and disheartened with how predicable everything was. I gave it three stars but I wish I could really give it 2.5 because it took me two weeks to finish this painful read. =/

I listened to the audio book and the narrator's voice was horrible. I'm not sure if that is the reason I didn't care for the book or not.

I do know:
I hated Whitley, the character never got over her weight "issue" and was always talking about it. Picked the book because of that character too. I was hoping to read a book about a proud plus size woman and i got the complete opposite!

I listened to the unabridged audio version of this book and while it got me through the last half of my work week I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The writing lacks personality and the story is extremely predictable. Do not waste your time with this book.

It was good. I had trouble Charisse's first couple chapters but she was there for the drama.

Definitely related to the ladies in this book. A great, quick summer read. Definitely enjoyed this one.
