I definitely did not think I would LOVE this book as much as I did. The growth between Feyre and Rhys, separately and together, was so fucking wonderful to read through, to the point that I was grinning and sobbing at one point. I don't really consider this enemies to lovers though, and there is a 'there was only one bed' moment. Overall, a wonderful read. Wish I had annotated.

Wow, I’m getting whiplash over here trying to figure out where our allegiances lie. I’m loving all of the Night Court character development, found family is one of my favorite of all the tropes.

The feels being evoked are a little too real in this series. It's not just faeries trucking. Question who's the hero and who, the villain.

A strong second installment of the series, the story was engaging and compelling and mostly believable. However, the author has a habit of leaving things out, unclear storytelling in some key moments, and the ending was racially a deux ex machina in a way which just felt cheap and convenient.  But overall a good read and I will read the next.

This one blew the first book out of the water! I devoured this book! I laughed and cried and clutched my pearls. Haha. I’m so excited to see what’s next for the characters!!

There is a heavy theme of abandonment and confinement in this one.
