Typical Patterson. Fast paced for the most part. Quick and easy to read. Not the best, far from the worst, just his, and his co-authors, typical. Been there, done that. Always great for end of the month challenges.

A likable new character Tom Moon. Story sets in Miami with human trafficking and Russian related. It was a typical Patterson detective/FBI/law enforcement mystery. Not bad but could use more action.

This was ok.

This follows Tom Moon as he and his team deal with international crime. He and his team are dealing with the Rostoff Brothers who maybe dealing with trafficking people among other crimes.

This was ok. I liked the characters and all that they were doing.

I did get a little bit bored but still wanted to know what and how they were going to deal with these brothers.

Overall an ok read.

This was a good fast paced book. There were no plot twists, it was mostly investigation focused and followed the folks that are looking for people. I didn’t love it, but would recommend it if you’re looking for an easy read and a page turner.

Threw in the towel at a little over half...so damn bored! It has a great premise, BUT it couldn't hold my interested. Literally nothing new here...

I won’t lie, it took me a while to get into this book. I think around the mid way mark was when I got into it a little more.
We follow Tom Moon on his adventure through Amsterdam and Miami to investigate the human trafficking cases arising. I really enjoyed the fact that romance wasn’t the main focus in this book. And following along to all the really likeable characters!
A really good and fun read!

4.5 Loss and love intertwined. “We are here to keep watch, not to keep.”
