For: fairy tale/folklore fans; readers looking for a classic retelling that is appropriate for young readers.
Possible red flags: con men; lying; thievery; some readers will find it too long.

I listened to it read just now on a Classical Short Stories podcast =]
Great story (I remember hearing it when I was a child--yes, I was read to... maybe that's why I'm soooo smart... ;p)
Oh, great story, nice commentary on human tendencies--and easily applicable to a great many issues.

Rereading one of my (4 year old) faves.
I listened to the audiobook while traveling to London with my favorite Grandfather.
Ps. Te amo Tati <3

So when you see my logging random Hans Christian Andersen stories every 2 minutes, that’s why. My thoughts on this one: I just know I’d be one of them lying about being able to see the clothes.
