Now this one I loved!

It was amazing! The depth of the characters (not to mention everyone is lovely), the gut-wrenching darkness behind their stories, the beauty of finding the light within each other... Wow

I can't even form coherent thoughts yet. It's going to take me a minute.

I mean, I already loved the characters, but as a couple they're even better.

The smut was fucking amazing (and, let's take a moment to appreciate how refreshing it was to not have a virgin FMC again), the romance on point and the plot just... chef's kiss.

And the cameos of the other couples made me giggle all around, though I missed Astrid and Levi but Xander and Kimmy are a beauty. And then there's Cole, I see you honey, don't you think I don't, I'm coming for you next.

PS: Fuck pedophiles.

PS2: Lars, the man you are. I've only known you for a few days but if anything ever happened to you I would kill everybody involved and then myself.

PS3: I was kinda sad that this one didn't have a bonus scene from Ronan's POV, but honestly, it doesn't even need it. Then again, none of the other ones did either and they where pretty mediocre anyway. Plus, I usually hate the bonus scenes because why can't they just save me the hassle and include it in the book in the first place. But I'm always down for a few more words about these two.

I was soo soo excited for this book. Ronan was such a sweetheart in all of the Royal elite books so I already knew that I would love him. And let me tell you that he didn’t disappoint in his own book. He stayed true to his character as that witty, funny and over the top dramatic character.

I noticed that usually if the MMC is shown as the party boy/ playboy, he’s seen to cheat A LOT. *cough* *cough* *Savio Falcone* *cough*. But Ronan wasn’t like that, he was so loyal and he won my heart again for that. Ronans relationship with Lars was another highlight of this book imo. It was different than anything other relationship the horsemen had Aiden- Margo, Xander-Ahmed. Lars and Ronan had this level of comfort that the other didn’t have, Also I really want to see this Black book now. What’s soo special in it🤣💀

Coming to Teal, she was so strong, probably the strongest character out of Kimberly, Elsa, and Astrid. I wouldn’t say that she had the biggest trauma growing up because you can’t measure and rank trauma but hers impacted her so much and the fact that she had no one to help her was worst. I love that she had a goal set in her mind and no matter what Ronan was throwing her way to make her end the deal, she didn’t. She was stern about her plan. Even at the end, She didn’t stumble or rethink once when getting her revenge (even if it was the wrong person).

This book didn’t have a lot of the other Horsemen or Kim and Elsa for that matter so I really did miss them. I missed Ronan convincing Kim and Elsa to wear the bunny outfits, I missed Knox and his carefree behaviour. I thought we would see a lot of him in this book but he was barely there tbh. And even Ethan for that matter. I love how he is with his kids and I feel like we were missing that relationship in this book.

Overall it was a great read, not my fav from this series (but really close to twisted kingdom) because first place goes to black knight (even if I didn’t like Xander, I’m literally still thinking about the book and Kim, it’s left an impact on me for sure).
