I found this book frustrating at times but good frustrating if that makes sense. Brodie and Treasure have so many missed opportunities and very nearly moments, to the point of almost making me scream. Brodie even mentions that fate seems determined to keep them apart, well fate and Treasure's lack of self worth.

This story follows on from Unwrapping Treasure, which I haven't read. I had no problems reading this as a stand alone. I loved the characters of Brodie and Treasure, although there were times when I could have shaken both of them! Their chemistry between them is undeniable and very well portrayed, the obstacles thrown in their path were many but I loved that Brodie remained steadfast throughout. There are some really good supporting characters in this book too.

The book is mainly written from Treasure's POV but with enough of Brodie's 'voice' to understand his thoughts, feelings and actions. The plot has plenty of twists and turns and moves along at a good pace, keeping me engaged throughout. I really enjoyed this romance, the writing and dialogue are very natural and easy to read and I now want to read Melanie's story.
