My favorite Tintin adventure. Love the mountaineering sequences. The Captain's mishaps are hilarious. This is probably the first Tintin I ever read; I remember reading installments in Highlights for Children when I was a kid waiting in the orthodontist's office. Weird, what we remember, isn't it?

That was the best so far. And strictly adventure, no crime, no espionage. In this one we do some traveling to real places. And see bravery and fool-heartiness. And okay some levitation, some clairvoyance, a yeti. But a fun fast paced story with better than typical art.

I think my favorite characters here are Snowy and the Yeti.

Another favourite of mine, even if it goes a little far-fetched. After dreaming about his Chinese friend Chang being in a plane crash, Tintin wakes up to find such a thing has really happened. Naturally, he travels to the mountains of Tibet to the site of the crash and embarks on the search for his friend.
A story of commitment despite all the evidence, this is a heartfelt story that I really enjoyed. The lack of villain is also an interesting choice.
