First things first, I hate that fake Saiba person... I really hate how he is like Mimasaka that takes the precious knives out from the loser opponent. It isn't fair at all. He can bet other stuff but not that..
I am also disappointed about Tsukasa, though I really love him, still I am really disappointed. At the same time totally pissed at that fake Saiba... Just want him to get lost... Jouichirou made a really huge mistake in what he did to Saiba.. A grave mistake..

However, on the good side, I feel so proud for Takumi and Soma. After all they have been through. They remind me a lot of Doujima and Jouichirou. They are just so similar to them. I love the friendship and also the healthy competition between them.. I am just not sure what will happen next. And to think this will be the second to the last volume for now, I am no sure what else to do! I am excited and yet saddened that I will now have to wait for the next chapters and volumes!

I don’t really care for the Noir characters much. Maybe it’s because they are so underdeveloped compared to the rest. But one thing is for sure, the food in Food Wars certainly looks yummy!

I have to admit that I feel confused and not really impressed with this volume. The wild ideas of the unusual tools to create the dishes have ruined this manga which beautifully started at the beginning.

The last section was enjoyable and actually gave some interesting character progression, but everything leading up to that was pretty generic for this series.
