i really could not care about the characters and that got me not interested in what happened in the plot. i feel like it has potential it’s just not for me. scarlett is just too boring/unoriginal of a main character for me personally, and julian has no real flavour. i also don’t care what happened to tella so why waste my time

Magic, fantasy, mystery and sisters! Some of my favorite things. The imagery in this book comes to life. This book kept me tuening the pages. It was the escape that I didn't know I needed! Where was this book when I was 14-16 years old? I will be picking up book two in the near future after that final letter on the last page!
