""Just when Alex Cross's life is calming down, he is drawn back into the game to confront a criminal mastermind like no other. The elaborate murders that have stunned Wshington, DC., are the wildest that Alex Cross and his new girlfriend, Detective Brianna Stone, have ever seen. This maniac adores an audience, and stages his killings as spectacles in public settings. Alex is pursuing a genius of terror who has the whole city on edge as it waits for his next move. And the killer loves the attention, no doubt - he even sets up his own Web site and live video feed to trumpet is madness."(From Amazon)

Didn't care for this suspense novel at all.

This was my James Patterson, so I didn’t realize this book followed the story of Alex cross. Definitely a page turner and for those who haven’t read him like myself, the book can be read alone or following his other Cross books in the series. Overall great read

I really enjoy the Alex Cross series of books, and this one was just as good as the others in the series. And with his arch-nemesis out, there is obviously at least one more book in the series. I didn't believe that escape series from the federal prison, but you have to suspend disbelief in a book like this.

Heerlijk boek. Houd de spanning hoog, korte hoofdstukjes en leest daarom vlot.

I know at some point Patterson started using ghost writers pretty heavily and I'd like to know when that was. The last two books I've read come later in the Alex Cross series and they've been just terrible. A product of ghost writers or not? I'd really like to know. But I guess when you're at the point where people buy anything you put out simply because it has your name on it, quality starts to matter a little less than quantity. It must be a nice writer problem to have.
