Fault Tolerance is equally as good as the prior two books. It's cute and cozy while still delivering high stakes and emotional relationship moments. There's a wonderful balance of sci-fi peril and authentic expressions of love. Everyone needs to read these books.

I'm sad that this book is the end of the line for Eva and her crew for now, because I could read more in this series forever. Excited for Valerie's new unrelated novel though.

Another romp through parts previously unknown with Eva Innocente, this time we get reverse Voltron, Transformers, and so much more. If you've liked the previous Chilling Effect books this one is just as wild, if not more so

Really difficult to get into this one, it took forever to get through this. Seemed to drag, I struggled reading it vs. Listening to the audios.

Valdes's writing is, as always, slyly hilarious and deeply enjoyable to read. The only slight quibble I had with this book was that some of the battle scenes dragged a little for me. That's entirely a "me" problem--battle scenes are boring for me and I am aware of this. Other people might be riveted by the battles in this book, which I think comps comfortably to the awesomeness that is the plot of Mass Effect 3. Like, imagine ME3 with a super sassy, Latina, female Shepard who chooses the Renegade options a LOT, and you more or less have a good feel for what you're getting into here. This series is an autobuy for me by now, and I don't regret the purchase one bit.
