Many things that are briefly mentioned in the book are never fully explained.
SpoilerWhat do the rings of the Forge do? Who created Mab? Where was the rest of the world when humanity was almost whiped out? What did the new symbols on the Forge say?

What happened to the antagonist in the end was underwhelming.
SpoilerYou'd think that you'd need a clever strategy to outsmart Mab but instead she was just distracted and killed

Still a very interesting world with great characters.

This series has robots, but it's more fantasy than science fiction.

I mostly liked this series, but I didn't love it. It's not something I can explain.

Fairly satisfying ending (albeit rushed) to a really good series. One of those situations where I don't really think the book needed to be longer, just that more of it needed to be dedicated to that final sequence.

There was a lot about this series that I really liked, but also a lot that I didn't. The concepts were interesting, but I was generally left feeling that the author could've done more with the ideas he was toying with. The feeling of close, but no cigar. I was also frustrated by the diction. I consider myself to have a pretty large vocabulary, but I had to look things up left and right. I'm not opposed to learning new words, in fact I actually like when I come across a new word and have to look it up! But it's not so fun when it happens more than 10 times in the same book. It was excessive. The characters were amusing enough, and the story fairly interesting, so I wasn't going to put it down. But I wasn't wowed like I hoped I would be when I picked up this series.

Disappointed the underwhelming final showdown with Mab, but I was definitely hooked throughout this last installment. Love this series! Not my favorite of the three, but still a solid read and the conclusion felt very natural and fulfilling.

The ending was perfect. I really enjoyed all of the development the characters have gone through since the first book, especially Berenice. The world that the author built was amazing and I'm kind of sad that there won't be more even though the ending was very satisfying.

3.5/5.

I mimo że było dobrze i przyjaźnie, to za tę końcówkę nie mam serca dać 4 gwiazdek. Warto było przeczytać całość, ale ostatnie 50 stron bym zmienił.
