Serena Jones is at it again! As a new mystery thickens, the love triangle continues to be, well, a triangle. And I wouldn't want it any other way. While some love triangles have me almost throwing the book against the wall in frustration, this one is very well done. Yes, I really can't decide which guy to root for (though I'm leaning towards team Nate), but Serena makes it clear she's not trying to get a guy. She just genuinely wants to be friends, though her feelings may get a tad in the way. And just when you think you can't take any more of the awkward (and funny) moments that the love triangle creates, you're whisked away into the action and suspense of the rest of the mystery.

I am very saddened to report that I did not like this book. It started out good. In fact, I appreciated Serena's intelligence for picking up clues that others were not smart enough to discover. In addition, Serena could handle herself in tough situations. My issues with this book stemmed from the fact that I could not form connections with any of the other characters in the story or the storyline itself. I really tried to stick with this book but after getting to the half way mark I just did not have it in me to keep with this book any longer. However, I would be willing to give this author another try in the future

I really enjoyed A Fool and His Monet, so I was very much looking forward to Another Day, Another Dali. It did not disappoint. I miss the tv show White Collar and this book kinda reminded me of it, so that was cool! It had a really great mystery that kept me guessing and wondering who the culprit was and why they did it. There was, also, some progress on the case of the murder of Serena's grandfather.

All of the characters were super entertaining, but I've gotta say, Aunt Martha is my favorite. She's such a hoot! I was totally Team Nate in book one, but after this one, I switched and am definitely Team Tanner. So, I'm really curious how the love triangle is going to turn out.

I highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys mysteries! Can't wait for book three!

Reading this book took me a long time because of some of the stuff that popped up in life. For a while, I wasn't sure if I wasn't loving the story or if it was my schedule. Last Saturday I curled up on the couch and blew through the last third of the book in one sitting (and wished I had book three), so I guess it was just my schedule!

When her grandmother asks Serena to look into a missing painting for a friend, Serena jumps into the task with a desire to make her grandmother proud. Before long, everyone seems to be a suspect and helping her friend Tanner seems to have made her a target for the Russian mobsters he's investigating. With her best friend preparing to get married, her mother hearing wedding bells every time she spends time with friends Tanner and Nate, a target on her back, and a case that seems to constantly expand Serena's got her hands full.

After reading A Fool and His Monet a year and a half ago, I've been waiting to get my hands on the sequel...and I finally did this December.

Another Day, Another Dali is more of the same light-hearted fun I found in A Fool and His Monet. Orchard is masterful at writing a novel based on clichés (gorgeous women attracts every man she meets but doesn't realize how appealing she is) without any of it feeling cliché. The pacing is perfect, the characters are charming, and the solution to the mystery isn't obvious.

I loved this as a quick, entertaining read. I look forward to completing this series with Over Maya Dead Body.

I have to say, I liked this book just as much as the first. The characters were well done, the mystery interesting and not easy to solve, and the romance fun. I loved it!

I liked this book better than the first in the series. Serena was less clueless (though she did still make a few really dumb decisions), and overall was much more competent and professional.

Surprisingly, I'm actually enjoying the love triangle. I like Tanner much more than Nate - I think Serena has more in common with Tanner. He's also a much more vivid character than Nate, who seems very flat and is fairly one dimensional. I think my favorite scene is the "romantic river cruise" with Tanner - that had me cracking up!

I enjoyed most of the humor - but I cannot stand Aunt Martha. She's so obnoxious, always inserting herself into the investigation with no training or knowledge. She just seems to get underfoot all the time.

Overall an enjoyable series about art theft and the FBI. I'm excited for the last one - and I hope she chooses Tanner!

About this book:

“The world of art theft can be a deadly game--one that Serena Jones understands all too well.
When FBI Special Agent Serena Jones takes on the case of a forged Dali painting as a favor to her grandmother, she assumes it will be a typical investigation. Hopefully collaring the thief will also mean finally measuring up in her grandmother's eyes. But the deeper she delves into the forgery and the suspects surrounding it, the less typical it becomes.
The Dali isn't the only painting that's fallen prey to the forgery-replacing thief, raising the possibility of a sophisticated theft ring--one with links to dirty cops, an aspiring young artist, and the unsolved murder of Serena's grandfather. To make matters worse, someone connected to the forgeries seems to be determined to stop Serena's investigation--no matter the cost.

Another Day, Another Dali gives the plucky Serena Jones--and readers--a new high-stakes case to crack. You won't want to miss a single brushstroke!”

I have eagerly been waiting for this sequel to the fabulous A Fool & His Monet. I was completely giddy opening this suspense/mystery novel. I absolutely adore the cover, back-cover & spine—it’s just so perfect for the feel of this series! I kind of literally want to be Serena, she’s just plain awesome. I’m completely blaming Sandra Orchard & Lisa Harris for the reason I’m currently taking a Criminal Justice course. ;) The humor & overall plot of this novel was wonderful & just what I was expecting. Summer 2017 will be great with the new Serena Jones Mystery and I’m hoping for a lot more of her and Nate in the third book of the series. ;)
