This is the second book in the "Watched" series and I'm impressed how Hogan has created this story set in a cruel and ugly world, but without it getting graphic or too much language. It is still keeping my interest and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

I started reading and neglected all else for the day. A good sign for a book, a bad sign for my family and house. There was a big chunk of the story that just dragged for me. I would have liked more details into her Niceville life. The cliff hanger ending was not very nice, either.

Better than the first book, this book has more action and thrilling spy work. The growth Christy/Michelle/Ari goes through is so important for the growth of the story and helps teens going through their own trying times have someone to vaguely represent them.

Her cover blown, and now wanted by terrorist groups, Christy is thrust into the witness protection program and trained to be the exact opposite of her normal self - now she is to be an average student and a cheerleader. Trained to escape from villains, torn from her life, and thrust into a new one, Christy does what it takes to survive. Action, adventure, disguises, cheerleading and more abound in this second book in the trilogy. Totally fun and exciting - an enjoyable read and now, I must read the next book!
