like all of taylor jenkins reids books this book was kind of sad but i learned so many things
i also really liked the concept of this book (that the whole book was about one day)
it was kind of hard to read and to get into but i still really liked the book!
if you are looking for a sad, challenging and inspiring summer read, this book is perfect for you

it had brought destruction.
it would also bring renewal, rising from the ashes.
the story of fire.
i swear this woman can’t not write a 5 star book

This was a good read! It took me a while to get into the story, but I really loved the characters.

This turned out to be more feel-good than I was expecting (at least at the end), but
Spoiler as an oldest daughter myself, I’m very happy that Nina got her happy ending.

wasn’t sure what to expect with this one but man tjr really knows how to write a book. i knew what i was getting into with evelyn hugo and daisy jones since they’re all anyone can talk abt online but i think malibu rising deserve to be talked abt just as much especially bc i found it a lot more riveting than daisy jones. this feels like a hidden gem bc i have literally heard no one talking about this and i need that to change

there was so much drama going on throughout the entire book and i just kept eating it up, and i swear there was at least three plot twists, i love the relationship between everyone in the riva family they all felt very real and dynamic as their own characters despite being a part of such a large cast,, i truly loved it
