Anna (h) is under pressure from her mother to find a man she can marry in order to inherit a trust fund and reluctantly agrees to a date with a man her mother found on a mail order bride app. Anna is stunned to find her date is her verbally abusive high school bully, Mike, but is even more surprised when a stranger, Easton (H), steps in to stop Mike’s nasty behavior and convinces her to go to his cabin with him. Easton was actually waiting for the chance to take care of Mike for a client but instead the hitman finds himself falling for Anna and things quickly heat up between the two. Sweet fast-moving quickie romance with plenty of heat and a little bit of angst.

This was a cute instalove romance. It was a short story with a good pace. I liked the connection to the previous book in the series but that it was still basically a standalone. Anna and Easton had an instant connection and good chemistry. I liked this story.

Fast pace short chapters loved more than the first one I think their grandpa manipulate them to compete for finding love it shallow in discussing but normal as a novella hoped to find Anna's conflictation to her mom and stand for what she wants but overall what I needed as a break
