i have a deep and abiding affection for the opener and closer of this collection -- the middle two stories are really excellent too, but those two were pretty stellar standouts!!  idk why it took me so long to finish this but i'm glad i did eventually 😅

This book is pulp and I think it knows that. Its fun! Pure and simple. As a book to read between heavy things its perfect but the book itself is not a marvel of literature at all.
