It was pretty easy if not a bit bland when I started it. Though the Vietnam War was very terrible to hear about.

I expected a dishy read about stewardesses of the 1950s. This is anything but -- and that's good! A great detailed account showing the professionalism and boundary-pushing social and working history of flight attendants.

Not impressed with the writing style. It was a weird mix of attempted narrative that was shallow in depth and informative writing that left a lot of unanswered questions. Two genres were half-assed instead of whole assing one. I liked some of the informative aspects, but it really led me to want to put this book down and seek out a different book that actually covered topics in more detail. Pretty big flop, given how intriguing the book jacket seemed.
