Okay I read the first two of these literally right after one another not pausing to even mark them read in between. They were just that good. I'll start with mentioning one of my biggest issues with this book was it's short length, especially when I found the opening a little hard to get into, but once Leigh had written her first story I don't think I stopped laughing at all while reading my way through this novel. It was wonderful.

I really don't know where to start. I only gave this book three stars, but it's really more like 3.5, which is the first time I've thought that reading a book. The storyline is really unique and I love it, there's a lot you could do with a storyline like that. However, I don't know what it was but something didn't hit the four star mark. Regardless, this book is still one of my new favourites!

It's all about this new desk she finds, it's a magic desk, anything you write on it comes true (but only if it's the right person writing it). Leigh is that girl. She doesn't actually know what's going on but she's experimentally writing some erotica passages and people she knows start ringing her up and telling her all about their amazing night! At first she thinks she's being a bit paranoid about it being exactly the same as her writing, but then she finds out the truth.

It's an easy read, the writing flows smoothly and reads easily. The characters aren't really 3D, you can't imagine it happening in reality and I don't mean because of the supernatural side to the book. However, it still makes a good book and the characters are perfect for the story.

This book seems to have quite a bit to do with Karma. Whenever she tries to write something good into her friends lives, something bad makes it backfire. Obviously she needs to hone her writing skills to make it work!

This is definitely a series I'd love to continue reading despite its flaws. The storyline is intriguing. I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes supernatural romances, witch stories, and finally drama.

Mode: Audio Book

Cover: Is so cute and adorable! I love how creative it was! I want wallpapers with this cute cover on them! I want to have a purse/bag that has it on there. I'm totally in love with it.

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Plot: School teacher's dreams are crushed when her book boyfriend dies. She sets out to write her own stories for fun. Things change when she comes across a desk that makes her words a reality. Can she get it under control or is she set to destroy everything around her?

Characters: I love every single character placed in the book. They all had very creative and unique characters. I especially loved Leigh. I feel a strong connection with this character. I love the characters I can strongly connect with.

Grammar: I can't really comment on this as I listened to it and didn't read it. I do plan to go back and read the e-books though. I own every single book.

General Thoughts: I love this book! I couldn't get enough of it and can't wait to dig into the rest of the series. It's spicy and sweet and amazing!

Interestingly different

I enjoyed my first installment of Leigh. Comedy, sexy, romance, intrigue...it has out all. Recommended to read and will move forward in this series.

OMG - I seriously loved this book and laughed my way through it!

Leigh Epstein is a "single, overworked and under-fucked elementary school teacher" who decides to write a book after her favorite book boyfriend is killed. She buys a desk and begins to write her story but strange things begin to happen.

As Leigh realizes the strange occurrences are related to her story she begins to alter her story to help her friends out but things are not going as she planned. She strives to figure out how to straighten things out before it's too late. Plus she really does not want things to go wrong with the new man in her life, Hunter.

I seriously laughed through so much of this book and got some strange looks from the people around me on the airplane. I loved how so much went wrong and how imaginative Leigh got in trying to make people happy.

I can't wait to read what happens in the next story!!
