I haven't bothered to write a review on this series up to now. It's at this point, the end of book 6 that I've decided reading this series has become a chore. The first two books were enjoyable, the next 3 were tolerable and now 6 & 7 are actually a struggle to read.
This series does not warrant 7 books. This story could have been told in 4. The same plot lines are rehashed every time, Viggo and Violet's relationship doesn't progress at all, the other characters are one dimensional and predictable. I'm basically skim reading at this point simply because I can't leave a series unfinished. Here's hoping book 7 can redeem the series.

Interesting

I like reading these books, but when you come to the end, it is left hanging. I don’t understand the title compared to the story. But the characters are well developed.

This has been my least favorite of the series so far. While action packed, it was almost too much. It just felt like it was going on and on. Oh well, onward to see how this story ends.

This series started out strong but should have ended two books ago. I am happy the next book is the conclusion to the series.
