WOW! I got into the book without reading the synopsis and I was blown by how horrific things start happening from the getgo!
This book is perhaps fiction but these people do exist. They look just like us. They also have a mom and a dad and a sibling. But they inflict and they LOVE inflicting pain on others. We just turn a blind eye or live in denial to save our sanity. But they exist with us as a passenger in the train we take everyday, a passerby, a neighbor, a friend, a relative. And we have no clue about their psyche. And that's what makes this book a horror for me.
Although I finished it in almost one sitting, I had to take mini-breaks of looking away from my kindle and to calm myself down the atrocious act I just read. But every bit of the book is just perfect especially the ending that made this book soooo surreal for me.

This was a wild ride but I throughly enjoyed it! Judith Sonnet has redeemed herself with this one.

I would have probably liked this one a lot more without the 2 characters living with their heavily diseased wieners which pushed a few scenes in goofy territory that didn't fit the general tone of the book.

Why. Why do I pick up splatterpunk books? I know I hate them.
