I enjoyed the antics of the Manse kids. In many ways I enjoyed them more than the antics of Anne kids. The Manse kids are little on the untamed side.

I thought i was not going to like it because Anne is quasi non-existent. However i was surprised to find the freshness of the first books in the Meredith kids. I do not agree with the father being so absent-minded though.

Also slightly disappointed with this one because I wanted more Anne, and just wasn't as interested in the children. Another one I suspect I'd have enjoyed more in my younger years.

PBS use to do Anne of Green gables Telethons, and it was always my favorite time of year.
As a child I loved Anne of Green Gables, but for some reason I never read the full series, I always stopped after Anne of Avonlea.
It was fun to revisit the characters and the setting I loved so much as a child

This is actually my least favorite of the series. It focuses on the Meredith family, and the Blythes are shifted to secondary characters. It was still good, but not up to par with the others in the series.
