 Woof this was a doozy.

CWs: SA, DV, Cults, Brainwashing, Grooming

I'm sure I missed some content warnings, but that are the big ones I can remember.

This book follows the story of "Papa Pilgram" and his family when they travel to the Alaskan Wilderness to live in the "way God intends." We follow what happened when they moved their, their confrontation with forest services, and most hauntingly, the abuse Papa Pilgram put his family through. The book was informative and relatively unbiased, though I would be lying if I said there was no bias. The author clearly favors the family over their horrible patriarch, and for good reason.

If you already have interest in true crime, cults, or religious fanaticism, this would be a good book to read. However, if literally any of the CWs I mentioned above are harmful to you and your well being, just skip the book.
