There’s this trend I’m noticing in these commercial “successes” where there’s a lot of build up and then it abruptly ends, like some editor said, well, it’s took long, let’s just end it. 

To have Lucy go through so much abuse then, op, I saw a psychiatrist for a few weeks years ago and now I’m just over the narcissist because I realize I’m worth it. Oh, and he killed this girl. La la, on with my life!

Blah.

YALL, I finish everything- but I couldn't even begin to want to finish this. First of all, Steven is an arrogant little bitch, and Lucy is... meh. There is so much focus on body image and NOT in a good way, I couldn't stand it. "Thin people just look better" and "I'm a little fat but no one pressures me to go to the gym" and, granted, I think Lucy has an ED but that doesn't mean Steven also needs to talk about his "pooch" like it's illegal not to have an 8 pack. Glad I borrowed this from the library and didn't buy it. 🙄

Just an incredibly frustrating read with obnoxious characters. The story is somewhat interesting and engaging, but every chapter is essentially the same with nothing new happening with the characters. Dumb kids making dumb choices. Ending was terrible.

this. was. genuinely painful to get through my god. i’ve never hated characters more (which i get was the point) but oh my god. unbearable for me personally. wanted to DNF at 10% but i persevered, regretfully so.  AGHAKFNXOANWIXBS
