How perfectly Chimamanda describes grief. So relatable and so real. Never have I read or watched something that reflects grief so we’ll. Will be recommending to anyone who has suffered loss. Cried.

Um singelo e tocante desabafo sobre a morte do pai da autora em 2020, em plena pandemia, que a obrigou a viver essa dor à distância. Chimamanda partilhou com os leitores os seus sentimentos perante a morte do pai, as dificuldades impostas pela distância forçada bem como as boas recordações sobre o pai.
É impossível não me sentir identificada com a dor desta filha. "Notas sobre o Luto" é, também, um retrato daquilo que muitas famílias viveram durante a pandemia e como tantos se viram impedidos de se despedirem dos seus entes queridos.
Um bom livro apesar de partir de uma circunstância triste.
