This book is something you should not read when sad because since the start to the end is the book just sad. Written perfectly that you will really be pulled in and out quickly because it's a short story.

I was questioning Řehoř's family the whole time. How can they be like this? Yes, he changed to an ugly insect but after all, it's still their son and brother. I just hated characters for that and couldn't actually understand. The ending is sad, because he died and they were somehow happy about it. It's such a complicated book and that's so beautiful about it.

Yeah, it was ok. I feel like many books have told me the message before already.

Opravdu drsná kniha. Přinutí člověka přemýšlet o podstatě lidství.
