É muito emocionante e emotivo, apesar de que às vezes martela demais na mesma tecla. A prosa é MUITO BOA - alguns livros você lê e cansa, esse flui deliciosamente e eu só parava porque meu coração ameaçava não aguentar kkkkk

The Wicked Remain... or maybe some wicked have gone and some have remained. That's how life works. Nevertheless, it's not a masterpiece or " the most perfect novel you'll ever read, I totally loved The Grimrose Series. I really appreciated the glow-up of the girls. Details...details got me so much. If you have researched fairy tales and their hidden symbolism, there is plenty of that, especially on Wicked Remain. It's dark and bloody, but also extremely empowering. Yuki is my favorite character and I enjoyed so much the journey she has gone through. Her mother's daughter, of course, but still fierce and ready to sacrifice herself to save her friends and break the curse.
I appreciated also Rory's and Bella's development, but still, I don't get the point of the romance between Ella and Friedrick and Rory and Pippa. I liked both of them, but still, I think that that would have deserved a better plot. They are just side characters, don't seem to add so much to the general plot, and, most important, they do not get included in the "sacred inner circle".
I am also quite perplexed about Nani...she and Svenja should have deserved a better focus.
Both books have some problems with the structure: at the end, everything happens in a rush, and I am still confused about how Rory got the Swords or also where the teachers were in the first book, and even how Magic itself worked. However, that was not so important, the truth must be told. It was a great journey, and I am so sad it has come to an end.
I would love a side book just on Yuki and Reyna... maybe sometimes dreams really come true?
