This picks up right at the end of the podrace where Anakin wins. I thought it strange to start Qui-Gon's story here. I liked how he makes a further attempt to free Shmi. Watto is up to no good in this! Worse character than I thought...Although slave traders can't get much worse.... I hated how they make Anakin and other kids look! Like a bunch of young toddlers. Super chubby and with saggy eyes. This whole comic ends before Anakin even says goodbye to his mother! Very short timeline!
