I read this one straight through. Probably more like a 3.5. All right, it wasn't Great Literature, but it was a good time.

None of the characters are likeable except maybe Nikki
and I hate that no one gets any redemption, or at least that the readers didn’t get to read about it. I wanted to see what happened to Annie after the news broke about her and Jackson killing Jess’ parents.

The Club is a smart, stylish, and savage thriller with a dark and deadly mystery at its heart. The Home Group is a glamorous collection of exclusive celebrity members’ clubs dotted across the globe. The most spectacular of all is Island Home and it’s three-day launch party is easily the most coveted A-list invite of the decade. But behind the scenes, tensions are at a breaking point as the ambitious and expensive project has push the CEO and his team to their absolute limits. As tempers fray and behavior worsens, as things get more sinister by the hour and the bodies pile up, some of Island Home’s members will begin to wish they’d never been invited. Because at this club, if your name is on the list, you’re not getting out.
Packed full of suspense, drama, and dirty secrets, the Club is a book you won’t want to put down till the last secret is revealed.

This book was full of intrigue as a murder mystery and it wasn't till late on you in the book you knew how many actually died. Told from the different character perspectives a lot of secrets kept being revealed and even though a lot of them were predictable there were a few surprises. I did enjoy it but I did find it difficult to keep up with all the characters and their different storylines. Mainly I didnt find any of the characters likeable as they all had their issues. The ending did seem to tie a lot up but there were still outstanding questions which I'd have liked resolved and the main themes did represent real life like the Weinstein scandal and how the rich and wealthy can really get away with anything.
