این دفعه دومیه که میخوام این کتاب رو بخونم و نمیتونم. زبانش خیلی سخته نمیدونم به خاطر ترجمهس یا پیچیدگی نوشتار ژیژک یا شاید هم هردو.

Feels sorta like those rappers who try to fit in as many syllables into a line as they can. There's style here, but that rhetorical profile is far more unified than the argument/arguments itself. He doesn't stay on any point long enough to really shake the foundations of what he is questioning, and the case studies don't cohere into anything beyond a set of remarks around the theme. I'm willing to give him another shot for sure, but I just didn't find this one convincing or even intellectually provocative.

SO much more lucid than i was expecting it to be. clear, sharp, funny… mr zizek they i was not familiar with your game, they misrepresented you!!!!!!!!!

Zizek has an interesting take on today's society and our penchant for decrying violence while not really understand the root causes of it. His essays blend a really interesting mix of popular culture, political science, and philosophy.

Zizek is such interesting man, like who else compares Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds to the September 11th attacks? And lands it!(sorta it’s very dense, the reading I mean)
