It's ok for bedtime reading.  Entertaining enough, but no great shakes.

This is bit more in-depth than a cozy mystery. The women who make up the Society have all suffered past traumas they keep hidden. The mystery is unexpected and intriguing. The women's stories are even more intriguing. There's graphic descriptions of some murders and traumas - trigger warnings for numerous things. The literary references were wonderful.

Cute cozy. I like the concept of a group of ladies who fell upon a crime solving club!

What a joy this book was to read! A cozy murder mystery set in an apparent peaceful town, along with some wonderful (and not so wonderful) characters.
Beautifully written, this is the first in the series, and I look forward to continuing it
