I couldn’t wait to get to Nova’s book after meeting him in Lessons of Corruption, and boy did he deliver. I loved learning about his childhood as a Booth, and his transformation into a Fallen Man amplified all his best qualities.
It was Lila’s past that broke my heart; her childhood as the daughter of a drug cartel leader, the boy next door that became her protector during those long nights, followed by the loss of her brother… Jonathon and the Booths were there for it all. It was no wonder that her feelings carried over into adulthood.
I thought it was beautiful that Nova gave her so much: his family as a child, his MC family as an adult, and later, himself, to form their own family. It was such a wonderful journey and story.

WOW !! Giana Darling is a new favourite author for sure. I have read the previous books in the Fallen Men series just this year and I was so very much hooked from the very beginning.
This is book 5 in The Fallen Men series and yes it can be read alone but I do recommend you start from the very beginning so that you get to know some of the other characters in the book.
Inked in Lies was so good! I swear I couldn't put it down and I really didn't want to put it down because boy was this one good. If you are looking for a HOT and sexy.

This book is soooo emotional. I cried actual tears for the first third of this book. Nova is the crown king of dirty talk, undisputed. Such a touching story with a beautiful romance. Really great spice too.

GUYS I loved every second of this book!
From the heartbreak to all of the warm fuzzy feels I fell for this couple instantly!
Lila was 6 when she met Nova. He was the boy next door and her ultimate protecter. Lila never wavered in her unrequited love for Nova and waiting for him to see her as woman & equal not someone he needed to shelter was so painful but so worth the wait!

i hate time jumps, flashbacks and all of those things so imagine how good this book msut be for me to give it 5 stars.

These books do be making me cry but there was some of the plot that I just couldn’t follow. Like wasn’t king shot dead? Lol wasn’t that why she started working for irina? Needless to say I was shocked when he showed up at the end

Giana Darling has done it again. I freaking love the fallen men. I’ll be honest and say that this one was such a different take than I was expecting. I wasn’t expecting him to be so against his feeling but I really should have expected it. I love Nova and I love Lila and I sure as hell love them together. This was such a beautiful story.
