If there's one thing physical therapist Sandra hates, it's obnoxious, know-it-all patients, and surgeon GT Lewis is definitely one of those. After trying to fire her, he accepts her help recovering from a severe fracture, but that doesn't mean she likes him. He dismisses her knowledge and demeans her job, even though she has a doctorate too.

As incompatible as they are professionally, the kinks of these two Club Indigo members are perfectly in sync -- he's a master rigger in Japanese rope bondage and she's a rope bunny who loves being tied up. Unfortunately, even his apologies won't convince her he's not a total jerk. But when Club Indigo sets up "Blind Date" night (where blindfolded submissives are paired with seemingly compatible doms), the two are matched, and in the dark, they work perfectly together.

As someone who works in health care, I know that the arrogant surgeon is more than just a stereotype. They're not all like that, but enough are to make GT seem like a very true to life character. The conflict between Sandra and GT is very real too. I like the "blind date" concept to pair up single Doms and subs, and would have liked to see more of what happened with the other participants.

This is another wonderful book from Karen Nappa.

I wasn't sure what to expect. This author is new to me. I enjoy this type of genre. I liked the book. The character relationship development was good. I'm glad the author didn't try to push them together to quickly. Because of Sandra's past, it prevents her from agreeing into a relationship. But JT took his time. The times they played it wasn't overdone. It was tastefully written and read.
I am interested in previous and future books in this series.
