Probably more at 3 1/2 for me but for the excellent, hilarious writing. I laughed out loud throughout this book while also shaking my head at the absurdity of the story and every aspect of it. When the dolphins showed up and Jasper devised his plot, I just about died. Voda’s character dropped this rating significantly for me, but the ending was fairly satisfying.

That was so weird I loved it. The father character was such a good decision he balanced out all the metaphor and weird tech stuff and grounded the story. Also I’m glad there was no actual dolphin rape.

This book defies genre and explanation in the best possible way. Made for Love is funny, disgusting, wild, full of heart, twisty and turn-y. It examines the terrifying intricacies of modern relationships in this advanced technological age with a zany cast of characters.

I love Alissa Nutting's brain. Frankly, I feel a bit sorry for everyone who DNF'd this book. If the premise isn't too crazy to start reading it, then I think it's worth getting to the end. This book never, ever did what I thought it was going to do, and I'm so glad I went along for the ride.

This book literally made me laugh so hard I cried. It has tech giants with crazy future gadgets, a dad with a sex doll, and the funniest con man situation ever written.
