I've had so much fun teaching intro to literature. I can't wait to do it again.

Read for my English class in Fall 2018. I didn't read every single thing in this book, but since it was for class I am counting it.

Yea, I just completed College Writing II at the local community college! This is a text book, but I found myself really enjoying the short stories we were required to read for class. I've decided to keep reading and at the very least read all the short stories, poems, and plays in this book written by authors of color. I certainly wouldn't recommend buying this book new, just for something to read, but with 1400 ultra thin pages, weighing in at only a little under 2 pounds, I would actually recommend buying the "portable" version, cheap at a used book sale, for summer reading if you're taking a trip this summer. There's no reason to hold on to this mini tome when you're done so leave it in a free book exchange shelf at the RV park or hostel or at a Little Free Library on your way home.

Not a bad collection of literature and some good examples of literary criticism and essay work. The only complaint I have is from a student point of view. There are several bolded vocabulary words that do not exist within the glossary. It would be helpful if vocabulary was listed at the end of each chapter and if the glossary was more comprehensive.
