I just fell in love with this quiet story of love and redemption in such an amazing way. The setting is small town in all its glory, where the place you live in is both comforting in its simplicity and familiarity yet at the same time suffocating for its old time beliefs and attitudes. the beginning of this book captivated me. I loved seeing the soft, tender way that Kristen and Marydale are with one another as they fall into a relationship. The romance is slow burning and beautiful, and from the very moment they meet in the diner, I was cheering for them to be together.

As all good books are apt to do, there's a situation that tears the two women apart, and my heart broke for the misunderstanding that comes between them. When Kristen leaves town, my heart sank and I could feel the chasm that she left behind.

Fast forward love years and we meet Kristen and Marydale in a different life situation, but the passion and longing is still very much there for them. If the first half of the book is a slow burn romance, the second half is an action packed race to redemption, and I absolutely loved seeing Kristen in her element, doing all she can for Marydale.

I don't want to give up any spoilers, because this story is just so riveting as it unfolds, but I will say that I loved the beauty of the sentences as much as the lovely romance within. There's something almost lyrical in the way that this book is written, and I loved every page.

If you're looking for an all-consuming love affair and a page turning plot, be sure to pick up FOR GOOD. It's lovely, sexy, and powerful.
